Job Description Helpdesk sideTakes accountability in ensuring that all tickets entering the helpdesk system are processed timely in-line with department standards.
Identifies and initiates resolution to client issues and concerns associated with desktop hardware and software.
Works cohesively with other helpdesk team members and liaises cross-functionally with colleagues in Network Operations for level II support.
Works with a minimum of supervision on a daily basis taking direction from local management and US based Helpdesk Coordinator;
providing feedback on concerns and resource requirements.
Installation and implementation of desktop hardware and software according to department standards and procedures.
Maintains current client (front-end) technical expertise in rapidly changing technology environment.
Has the ability to seek out new and innovative solutions to client technology issues.
Network/Server side

Maintain company LAN’s, WAN’s, and wireless networks, including servers, routers, hubs, switches, UPS, and other hardware.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot problem areas as needed.
Create and maintain documentation as it relates to network configuration, network mapping, processes, and service records.
Ensure network connectivity of all servers, workstations, telephony equipment and other network appliances.
Manage servers, including database, email, print and backup servers and their associated operating systems and software.
Monitor and test network performance and provide network performance statistics and reports.
Perform system backup and recovery.
Maintains a positive working relationship with all departments seeking out ways to improve their productivity.

Desired Profile BS Computer Science/Computer Engineering
4-6 years of relevant IT experience
Having good oral communication and writing skills to interact with customers via documents and proposals.
Must be MCSE.
Preferred CCNP.
Linux Added advantage
Ready to work in shift environment.
