HOW TO APPLY

Candidates are to submit application in ‘e-application’ (Online) for this entry. The candidates desirous of applying online (e-application) can do so from 02 Nov 11. The online application registration will cease on 26 Nov 11.The procedure for applying online is explained in Paras 14 & 15 below

Online (e-application):- Whilst filling up the e-application, it is advisable to keep the relevant documents readily available to enable the following:-
(a) Correct filling up of personal particulars.Details are to be filled up as given
in the Matriculation Certificate.
(b) Fields such as e-mail address, mobile number are mandatory fields and
need to be filled

• Age. 17 to 19½ years (i.e. born between 02 Jan 1993 & 01 Jul 1995. (both dates inclusive).
• 3. Educational Qualification. Senior Secondary Examination (10+2 Pattern) or its equivalent from University/Board with at least 70 % aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) and at least 50% marks in English (either in Class X or Class XII).
• Physical Standards

(a) Height and Weight. Minimum height – 157 cms with correlated weight as per age.
(b) Eye Sight. The minimum acceptable vision standard for distant vision 6/6, 6/9 correctable to 6/6, 6/6 with glasses. Should not be colour/night blind.

Note: There will be no relaxation in physical standards

TRAINING

The training is scheduled to commence in Jun 2012

Selected Candidates will be inducted as Cadets for four year B Tech course
in Electronics & Communication or Mechanical Engineering at the Indian
Naval Academy, Ezhimala Kerala.

Become a Short Service Commissioned Officer in the Naval Armament Inspection Cadre of Executive Branch July 2010 Course
Applications are invited from unmarried male Indian citizens for grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) in Naval Armament Inspection Cadre of Executive Branch of the Indian Navy for Course commencing July 2010.

Eligibility Conditions:

Age : Between 19 and 1/2 to 25 years (candidates to be born between 02 July 1985 to 01 January 1991; both dates inclusive)

Educational Qualifications : Any of the following
1. BE/B.Tech. in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical from an instituttion recognised by AICTE.
2. Post Graduate Degree in Electronics / Physics from a recognised university.

Physical Standards : Hight and Wieght : Minimum height – 157 cms. The minimum acceptable visIon standard for distant vision 6/60, 6/60 correctable to 6/6, 6/12 with glasses. Should not be colour blind.

Applications are invited from unmarried Male Candidates for Enrolment as Sailors for Sailor – Senior Secondary Recruits (SSR) – 1/2010 Batch. Course Commencing 01 February 2010.

Eligibility Conditions:

Age : Candidates to be born between 01 February 1989 to 31 January 1993; both dates inclusive)

Educational Qualifications : 10+2 (equivalent qualified with compulsory subjects Maths, and Physics, optional subjects Chemistry/ Biology/Computers.

Pay : During the initial training period they will be paid Rs.5700/-PM, on completion of initial training they will be posted in the regular pay scale of Rs.5200-20200 plus Grade Pay Rs.2000/- plus MSP Rs.2000/- plus allowances as admissible.

Selection Criteria : Selection of recruits is based on the order of merit on their performance in Written Test, Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and fitness in the Medical Examinations.

How to Apply: Application Forms, in accordance with the prescribed format, and complete in all respects should be sent through Ordinary Post only with the type of entry, choice of centre and percentage of marks in 10+2 is to be clearly written on top of the envelope containing the application. Envelope should be brown colour with attested documents, two self-addressed envelopes of size 22×10 cms with Rs.10/- stamp affixed on one envelope to the different Post Box addresses in New Delhi depending on the examination centre. Educational Qualifications : 55% or more marks in aggregate in 10+2/equivalent examination with complusary subjects Physics and Mathematics : optional subjects Chemistry/ Biology/ Computers.

Pay : PB-1 Rs.5200-20200 Grade Pay Rs.2000 plust MSP Rs.2000 plus X group Pay Rs.1400 plus allowances.

Applications are invited from unmarried Male and Female Indian Citizens for Short Service Commission (SSC) Officer in Aviation Cadre of Executive Branch of the Indian Navy for Course commencing January 2010 at Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerala.Eligibility Conditions:

Age : Between 21 to 23 years (candidates to be born between 02 January 1987 to 01 January 1991; both dates inclusive)

Educational Qualifications : A Graduate Degree in any discipline with an aggregate of 55% marks with Physics and Mathematics as main subjects at 10+2 level.

SSC : Short Service Commission is granted for a term of 10 years, extendable to 14 years, subject to service requirements and performance/willingness of the candidate.
