Job Description

Responsibilities:

* Work as part of the team to engineer, design, develop, test, and implement high volume, highly secure 3-tier application software and the corresponding toolset.

* Reviews architectural documents and/or specifications including business rules, edits, and database specifics for applications with team leads prior to implementation.

* Designs, develops, document and test applications in accordance with coding standards, team best practices and ADP UI specifications.* Performs unit, side-effect and system testing of solutions.

* Meets engineering, design, and coding deliverable deadlines throughout project lifecycle.

* Communicate with team leaders and managers on ongoing status, milestones, and success

* Provide technical support for the resolution of customer issues by performing analysis to determine root cause.

* Maintain previous versions of the product with client prioritized bug fixes.

* Perform other related duties, as assigned. This would include tasks such as documentation reviews, testing, training and support to other development departments.
Desired Profile

Required Skills:

* 4 – 7 years of experience in building Java Server-based applications and/or Java Applets.

* Strong Structured Query Language (SQL) skills.

* Ability to understand database table relationships is required.

* Ability to read C/C++ programs.

* Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

* Able to complete assignments that are defined in general terms.

Strong Plus:

* Experience with IBM MQ.

* Experience with Solaris operating systems.
