Job Description The Programmer Analyst position is responsible for contributing to numerous application development and delivery projects. This person demonstrates expertise in a variety of application development concepts, best practices and procedures for implementation of RICE objects in the platform area of the Oracle eBusiness Suite of Applications, Oracle 9i & 10 database and Applications server. Under the leadership of the Applications Development Manager and Team Leaders, programmer/analysts collaborate with company customers, vendors, staff, IT colleagues, and process teams to identify user requirements, assess available technologies, and recommend solutions. They will collaborate with others on the team, business and IT collegues to identify business requirements and design appropriate solutions. They share responsibility with other team members to ensure on-time application delivery, which requires a clear understanding of expectations and capabilities and the ability to act effectively as a team member. This specific position requires knowledge of the Oracle Application E-Business Suite modules for Order Management, Purchasing, Inventory, Warehouse Management and Transportation Management.
