• Hands on experience in Core java and J2ee technologies.
• Good knowledge of XML, UML, EJB and RDBMS: Oracle.
• Ability to understand the software specifications and develop the code
• Documentation of the code changes and packaging the code is required
• Developing application on Mobile using J2ME
• Development/Porting of client applications.
• Assess mobile devices to determine scope and complexity of application porting effort
• Add new features and GUI elements as required for mobile applications
Desired Candidate Profile
Education:
B.Tech/B.E. - Any Specialization
M.Sc - Any Specialization, M.Tech - Any Specialization, MCA - Computers
Experience:
• Minimum2-3 years of experience in Java and related J2ME technologies
• Exposure to Multimedia Mobile Applications
• Ability to understand the requirements given by the client and implement a quick solution.
• Should be a self-starter with the ability to deliver within the stipulated schedule in an agile development environment
• Problem solving skills and debugging skills
• Familiarity with CMMI and ISO Quality Processes preferred
Preferred Skills:
• Experience on developing GPS based applications for mobile
• Experience in Device Porting
• Familiarity with software configuration management systems and/or source code version control systems preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-managed proactive work style.
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
• Able to work independently and in a team environment.
• Desire to engage in extremely challenging assignments
