Job Description
1. Responsible for requirements, design, development, testing, requirement collection, feasibility analysis, and review to automate processing and improve existing computer systems.
2. Interact with customers as required for requirements clarification/ issue resolution.
3. The individual will involve in Design and Development responsible for architecting the Web applications for Insurance. The individual will be involved in our R&D as well client servicing activities of new product development/custom application development using SOA.
4. Problem solving (code written by self) and for the project team
5. Lead a small team (Scheduling work activities, monitoring work activity progress, reviewing and reporting status etc) & support Team Building activities (Interviewing, mentoring etc)
6. Process adoption (understanding and adopting VAM QMS process including process documentation)
7. Building technology expertise inline with VAM requirements & report status and issues to Project Manager / Delivery Manager.
Desired Candidate Profile
1. Minimum of 7+ years experience including strong knowledge of Design Patterns.
2. Extensive experience in application development on Microsoft .Net environments: ASP.Net, C#.NET, VB.NET, XML, Web Services etc
3. Working knowledge on .net3.0 Framework.Preferably WCF.
4. Good experience of BizTalk or Sharepoint
5. Some experience on MSFT SOA stack and platforms
6. Strong foundation and expertise to formal SDLC process
7. Extensive design and development skills, as well as , strong presentation, communication and organization skills
8. Application development experience in the insurance industry (Not Mandatory)
9. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
10. To ensure timeliness and quality of deliverables is a default expectation
