Job Description design, development and testing of 3GPP,GPRS/EGPRS Access Stratum mobile protocol stack (RLC/MAC/LLC/SNDCP) Embedded real-time software development to independently analyze and resolve issues. to lead, mentor and distribute knowledge to other team members.
Desired Profile Desired profile for GSM/GPRS
1. Minimum 5 years of experience in design, development and testing of 3GPP GSM GPRS/EGPRS Access Stratum mobile protocol stack (RLC/MAC/LLC/SNDCP)
2. Good understanding of 3GPP GSM/GPRS/EGPRS Layer 1 and RR.
3. Strong coding skills in ANSI C and Embedded real-time software development
4. Experience in debugging complex issues on target.
5. Working knowledge of On-target debugging tools like lauterbach, Realview ICE, JTAG etc.
6. Working knowledge of host based testing tools for protocol stack.
7. Should possess capability to independently analyze and resolve issues.
8. Should possess capability to lead, mentor and distribute knowledge to other team members.
9. Experience in a similar role (3GPP protocol design and development) for at least 5 years
10. Total Experience in the industry (telecom S/W design and development) 5-7 years.
