VP/Manager, Equity Research
· VP level candidate will come in as the most senior resource in Investment Research with responsibilities of delivering as well as growing the business.
· The candidate must have significant (minimum 3 years) experience in Equity Research, Valuation, and Financial Modeling and should posses excellent command over written and spoken English.
· Ideal candidate will come from either Indian research houses/leading KPOs/niche Equity Research outsourcing firms
· Experience in business research is desirable so as the flexibility to contribute to business research vertical at Axience
Associate/Analyst, Equity Research
· The candidate must have one to three years experience in Equity Research, Valuation, and Financial Modeling and should posses excellent command over written and spoken English.
· Ideal candidate will come from either Indian research houses/leading KPOs/niche Equity Research outsourcing firms
· Experience in business research is desirable so as the flexibility to contribute to business research vertical at Axience
Job Description
· Collect financial statements and additional data using on-line and other sources such as Bloomberg, Reuters etc.
· Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis using historical model building and developing projections
· Conduct broad industry analysis and research, maintain databases and spreadsheet models to provide relative value analysis and recommend investment opportunities
· Extensive company valuation involving approaches such as DCF, Trading and transaction multiples, EVA, Sum of the parts, LBO etc.
· Complete report-writing including initiating coverage reports, company profiles, quarterly updates and sector reports; prepare other deliverables such as client presentations or parts thereof
· Prepare Thought Leadership papers on capital markets, derivative products, sectors or companies
· Participate in and contribute to Axience Business Development and Brand Building
Required Skills
· Engineering/MBA/CA or other advanced degree
· Attention to detail and focus on quality
· Proficient in MS Office
· Excellent communication skills and Team player
* Self starters who can work with little supervision
* General industry focus with commands on few industry sectors
Reporting
VP Level candidate will report to the CEO and COO of the firm while, Associate and Anlayst level candidates will report to COO and Manager of Equity Research
Compensation
Compensation will be structured to attract the best in industry and will consist of Fixed Salary, Variable component and possibly stock options
