Desired Candidate Profile
- 1.5 - 2.5 years of experience as an Oracle DBA , role involving database creation/ maintenance/ backup/ recovery/ fine tuning.
- Create and maintain large Oracle databases on SUN Solaris and Windows Platforms.
- Provide recommendations and solutions on database performance, integrity, security , availability
- Perform database administration activities including monitoring, schema management, space management, performance tuning, SQL Query tuning, database backup and recovery, disaster recovery, data replication, and database refresh and database upgrades
- Provide 24×7 database support and ensure that all critical database problems are resolved in a timely manner
- Perform database software maintenance and database instance creation
- Hands on experience in SQL* Loader, export and import and RMAN, PL/SQL programming
- Knowledge on Oracle Application server and Oracle Developer suite.
- Highly motivated team player and always eager to learn new technologies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
