Desired Candidate Profile
a.System Administration:
- Proficiency in Microsoft 2000/2003 Servers administration, Active Directory (ADS)
- Experience working with Exchange 2000/2003
- Experience in Proxy Servers, IIS
- Exposure to MS SQL, Oracle Databases
- Exposure to Virtualisation Technologies including Vmware
- Proficiency with Software Development environments
- Windows Desktop support running various editions of Windows Vista/XP
- Issue management skills
- Infrastructure project management
- Security management relating to OS, Applications etc
- Patches installation/management, Anti-virus administration
- Application support on servers, desktops
- Proficiency with standard Backup tools including Veritas BackupExec
- Vendor management including support, purchase
b.Network Administration:
- Exposure to configuration of Cisco Switches/Routers
- Administration of LAN / VLANs
- Exposure to communication links including Leased lines, Internet links, VPN
- Wide Area Network uptime monitoring, recording, resolution
- Co-ordination with Service providers for uptime maintenance
- Knowledge of security devices such as Firewalls
c. Qualifications:
- BE / B. Tech / B. Sc. / Diploma
- MCSE and/or CCNA preferred
