Manage a group of network engineers who directly to report to him/her working in a 24×7 pattern
Key person in charge of the network support for mogulus.com to ensure that the application is live 24×7.
Responsible to deploy and scale the mogulus.com server infrastructure comprising of web servers, SQUID reverse caches, MySQL cluster, Streaming Servers.
Provide Network analysis, network planning, engineering design & implementation.
Apply techniques & tools for the efficient solution to network problems.
Setup & configure network security, storage & backup data.
Desired Candidate Profile
Linux Guru whom the team can look upon for technical solutions.
Thorough knowledge of Unix/Linux internals, security and shell scripting.
Able to provide network planning, analysis and monitoring, engineering design and implementaion.
Apply techniques and tools to find efficient solutions to network problems.
Prior experience of managing a team of junior adminstators
Strong experience in large scale load balancing and caching.
Knowledge of basic TCP/IP Networking functions.
Knowledge of relational databases - administration & deployment, preferrably MySQL
Experience in managing SQUID web caches
Excellent communication skills both oral and written
