Job Description
Responsibilities:
Management of the Unix / Solaris infrastructure and services for both development and production systems.
Management of public network infrastructure for high volume application including servers, routers, switches and load balancers.
Off-hours network and systems support (not end-user).
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications/Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years experience managing Solaris / Unix servers.
Minimum 3 years experience writing and maintaining Perl and shell scripts.
Minimum 3 years experience managing network attached storage systems.
Excellent documentation skills.
Experience working remotely with data center staff to resolve problems.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Experience working in an extremely challenging and fast paced environment.
Knowledge of Cisco Switches and Routers is a plus.
Knowledge of interior and exterior routing protocols (OSPF and BGP) is a plus.
