Job Description
Financial analysis of Indian listed stocks entailing:
Some data entry of financial data acquired from annual reports, stock market releases, media, etc.
Creation of financial model (in MS Excel) to forecast key company financial metrics, PER, EPS, NPAT, etc.
Monitor the stock for changes (new information especially quarterly & half yearly earnings reports) and keep all models under his/her jurisdiction up-to-date.
Write research reportsKey Responsibilities:

Generate and maintain financial models on Indian listed companies
Become an industry expert across sectors of the economy covered.
Make stock recommendations regarding Indian equities.
Ability to lead, motivate & mentor a team of analysts
Independently handle day to day functions of PCG department
Desired Candidate Profile
Education

Have post graduate Finance qualifications
1st Degree -any numerate degree (with honours preferred) like Engineering, Accountancy, Science, etc.
MBA

Experience & Skills

Should:
Have 4-6 years industry/relevant experience.
Be very good with numbers.
Have knowledge of the workings of financial markets.
Have knowledge of accounting; be able to ‘read’ balance sheets, profit and loss statements, etc.
Excellent modeling/spreadsheet skills especially MS Excel
Highly computer literate
Be able to obtain information on their own adaptable, resourceful.
Service oriented, adaptable, lateral thinker.
