Senior SQL Server DBA

5+yrs experience
Oracle DBA experience is a plus
Experience: supporting multiple MS SQL Server ( SQL Server 7 & SQL Server 2000,SQL Server 2005) with large databases in a 24×7 production environment both in terms of SQL tuning and also server level tuning using various configurable parameters, running dbcc and running dbcc dbrepair if needed, must be able to understand existing perl and shell scripts and also code them when needed.should be familiar using third party tools such as DB Artisan, etc.Must be proficient in administering the MS SQL Server 2000/2005 running on a windows with 2 nodes, applying the service packs as and when they are distributed, regular DBA activities like backup & restoring of user & system databases, running dbcc, update statistics, must be comfortable in configuring different external services that can be linked to the server such as mail notification, DTS, etc.
Must have very good communication skills both verbal & written.
Good to have skills: , MS SQL Server Replication server Administration.
