Job Description
Our requirements are as much of the following as possible:1) Ability to install applications. The admin should be familiar with installing packages via RPM, pkg_add, and with the source files (./configure, ./make, etc.).
2) Experience with FreeBSD, CentOS, XSERVE, and Redhat.
3) Experience with PHP, MySQL, and Apache. MySQL replication experience (master slave, master backup master, etc.).
4) Experience with load balancers both software based (e.g. PEN) and hardware based (e.g. Foundry)
5) Experience with firewalls (e.g. Checkpoint)
6) Experience with VMWare
7) Experience with monitoring software (e.g. Big Brother, Nagios, etc.)
Troubleshooting skills (evaluation of logs, messages)
9) General shell scripting
10) Ability to document all servers and architectures
Desired Candidate Profile
Good communication Skills required.
Good Technical skills and real time experience.
Excellent Presentation Skills.
Willing to work in shifts.
