Job Description
* Database administration using SQL Server Enterprise Manager.
* Designing and managing, testing disktape Back ups and Recovery strategies.
* Designing and managing SQL DTS packages.
* Developing SQL stored procedures, views and triggers.
* Troubleshooting and Performance tuning of SQL Queries and Stored Procedures.
* Scheduling jobs, batches, identifying performance issues and troubleshooting.
* Implementing Business rules using SQL objects.
* Network Configuration using Client Network Utility.
* Auditing using Profiler utility.
Desired Candidate Profile
* Monitor and maintain production test and development environments * Designing, Modeling, Installation and Configuration of databases.
* Implementing Database Security, administering user access permissions, roles, and privileges.
* Runtime database optimization and performance tuning.
* Database storage management.
* Database scheduled back-ups and recovery.
* Database migration.
* Designing and implementing disaster recovery plans.
* Carrying out day to day database maintenance activities.
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with all departments and levels within the organization.
* Highly organized and detail-oriented.
* Must possess effective verbal & written communication skills.
