Designation Security Analyst
Job Description

Job Summary:

Exposure to development and maintenance of Security policies, standards, procedures and guidelines

Working knowledge of BS7799, ISO17799, ISO27001, eSCM, COPC, SAS70

Thorough knowledge of one or more key technical areas: Ethernet, FDDI, Switching, ATM, Frame Relay, SMDS, TCP/IP.

Security Essentials: IP concepts and behavior, Internet threats, Security Policies, Malicious Software and Anti-Virus Tools, Host-Based Perimeter Protection, PGP and Cryptography, Securing Operating Systems (Windows 2000, 2003, Unix)

Other Security Needs: Audits, planning, design, implementation, testing, and management

Network Operating Systems: UNIX, Windows 2000/2003 domain policies, UNIX scripting experience in C, Perl, Tcl/Tk, and/or shell scripts

Network Security architecture: Network firewalls (Checkpoint, Netscreen, PIX), VPN, application gateways, Intrusion testing methods and tools such as Nessus, ISS Internet Security Scanner, Retina, and System Security. Scanner, Intrusion Detection, Attack recognition and response systems such as Snort and RealSecure

Cryptographic tools, methods, systems and protocols: SHTTP, SET, IPsec, ISAKMP, DES/DES3 , AES

Router access control: Cisco, Nortel, remote access and authentication

Skill Requirements:

Strong communication and documentation skills

Advanced usage of Microsoft Office productivity tools (Word, Exel, Powerpoint, Visio, Access)

Excellent analytical skills in understanding client requirements

Hands on experience in designing solutions implementing security products, networks and supporting the same

Experience in implementing and/or providing consultancy for security services in delivery of complex security/internetworking and OS platforms

Industry certifications like CCSA, CCSE, ISS, CISSP or CISA

Qualifications: Full time graduation
